Carnival Breeze

Carnival Breeze
Carnival Breeze is being built as a Dream class cruise ship. The Dream class of ships is the largest class of Carnival cruise ships so far. There are currently two Dream class ships sailing for Carnival with a third, this ship, due to sail in 2012. The sister ships are Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic. The Carnival Magic is the flagship of the Carnival fleet.

At present the Carnival Breeze is still being constructed but we expect it to be similar to it's sister ships

Ship particulars

Food
The Carnival Breeze is planned to have a couple of main restaurants, along with the lido and specialist restaurant. Following the success of the new addition of a second premium restaurant, at a smaller cost than the existing one, this is more than likely to happen with the Carnival Breeze also. Of course the Red Frog Pub will also probably be included

Excercise

The Carnival Breeze is expected to have a Cloud 9 Spa, managed by Steiner, on board

Formal nights

On the Carnival Breeze, when completed, will operate the same as the rest of the fleet, there will be roughly one formal night a week. Carnival call these evenings elegant nights. Passengers will receive notice with their tickets and will find the elegant night is usually the second or third night into the cruise which is usually a day at sea. The male passengers wear dark suits with ties or a tux, while women will opten wear short dresses or cocktail skirts. If you do not want to dress up, you can dine in the buffet areas on the elegant night. Even on normal nights, the main rstaurants have a smart dress code, rather than jeans and t shirts.

Smoking

Although the ship is still in construction, the following smoking policy is standard across the entire Carnival fleet.

Cigarette smoking in public venues will only be permitted in Carnival’s dance clubs as well as in designated areas within the casino and casino bar.

Smoking (including cigars) will be permitted in designated exterior open deck areas of all our ships. Additionally, smoking will also be allowed in the jazz club.

Smoking will be prohibited in all guest staterooms. Guests in balcony staterooms may smoke (including cigars) outside on their balcony. However, Spa suites and staterooms, inclusive of the balconies, will remain an entirely smoke-free environment.

Guests who smoke in their staterooms will be assessed a $250 cleaning and refreshing fee on their on board account. Information on this fee is included in Carnival’s ticket contract.
