Carnival Elation

Carnival Elation
The Carnival Elation is a Fantasy class cruise ship in the Carnival fleet. The other ships are, in order of build, Carnival Fantasy,Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Fascination, Carnival Sensation, Carnival Imagination, Carnival Inspiration and finally Carnival Paradise.

The Carnival Elation is almost identical to her sister ships, with some small differences in terms of restaurant names and some some bar and lounge differences, also unlike many of the Fantasy class Carnival ships, the Carnival Elation does not have all the "Evolutions of fun" upgrades on board, but it now has the WaterWorks water park and slide but does not have any balconies. The ship, like other Carnival ships remains family friendly, but ensures that adults can relax and enjoy their cruises and has some special areas to ensure the two can be separate at times.

The ship was launched in 1998, and has recently undergone a major refit in 2011 to improve the ships facilites with the new fleet wide upgrades for the introduction of more fun on board the older Fantasy class ships. The ship now has the typical facilities as the rest of the Fantasy class ships with the introduction of the adults only area called Serenity and the popular Carnival WaterWorks water park, which includes a water slide

Theres lots on offer on board with fabulous restaurants, a lively disco, casino and plenty of bars and lounges for you to relax in. The Paris Lounge is a must visit. It seats around 1,300 seats. The ships entertinment team undertake two shows during each cruise, each with a whole host of performers and the orchestra.

Whatever you prefer doing on a cruise, the Carnival Inspiration will have something for you.
