Seabourn Quest

Seabourn Quest
The Seabourn Quest was launched in June 2011 and sailed to the port of Barcelona for her christning. On 14th June 2011 the ship was christned by her godmother, the Emmy- and Tony Award winning actress Blythe Danner, in a huge sunset ceremony.
The Seabourn Quest joins the Seabourn fleet and is the third 32,000 ton ship in the fleet, with three smaller ships of 10,000 tons, the Seabourn Pride, Legend and Spirit. Being almost identical to its sister ships the Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn, the ship is three times the size of the older smaller ships but only has double the passengers therefore increasing the space per passenger significantly contining the Seabourn standard of carrying only a small number of passengers in luxury and with an unparralled level of service.

Seabourn Quest features amazing cuisine using fresh ingredients and regional specialties. The open-seating format means that you can eat where you want, when you want and with whomever you want.
The main restaurant called The Restaurant offers gourmet cuisine on beautiful china and crystal. There is also a Veranda Café and the Sky Grill, an outdoor dining option. The Sky Grill, at the popular alfresco Sky Bar, hosts occasional themed luncheons, and dinners of grilled specialties under the stars. Festive Deck Barbecue dinners and signature Caviar in the Surf beach parties are highlights on many cruises.

Food
The Seabourn Quest has a main restaurant called The Restaurant. It offers fabulous food served on amazing china drinks served in crystal glasses. Dining, as with all Seabourn vessels, is open seating format, meaning you can eat where you want, when you want and with whomever you want. There is also a reservation resaurant called Restaurant 2, where dishes are prepared individually by the chef as you wait. Alternatively there are the more relaxed options of The Colonnade, which is an indoor / outdoor dining venue serving buffets for breakfast and lunch, and in the evenings, themed dinners.
There is also an outdoor grill called the Sky Grill. This offers al fresco cuisine, with plenty of tasty treats grilled as you wait.

Excercise

The Sebourn Quest has a a huge spa, so large in fact that it was the largest spa facility on any luxury cruise ship, although this has now been beaten. Features six treatment rooms, a thermal area featuring a large hydro pool, dry float, sauna and steam rooms, full service salon, a gym and a motion studio featuring a Kinesis Wall and Thai massage area.

Formal nights

There are around three formal nights on board the Seabourn Quest over a two week cruise, with additional informal nights and casual nights. Seabourn usually send out a passenger information guide to what is expected on these nights. On Formal nights, men are expected to wear dinner jackets or dark suits and women cocktail dresses or gowns. Informal nights are more in line with a country club style. The dress code on board is certainly casual, however, from 6pm each evening, Seabourn recommends one of three categories for evening attire, which are formal, elegantly casual and resort casual.

Smoking

Cigarette smoking is not permitted on the Seabourn Quest anywhere except in your room, on the starboard sides of the Observation Bar, Sky Bar and deck behind Seabourn Square. Pipe and cigar smoking is permitted only outside on deck on the starboard side (right side) except during on-deck meal service.
